GRP Repairs and teak deck removals

Remove all deck fittings and remove worn out teak deck.

Repair deck in delaminated areas. Prep  and fill with structural West System filler.

Sheath with biaxial cloth and fill and fair.

Paint below the deck fittings to ensure a good seal. 

Paint deck with Kiwi Grip for maximum grip.

Twin skinned tank with foam sandwich core. Grp outer has failed and allowed water into the core. 

Cut GRP top off and remove old foam. Allow area to dry out.

Ensure main H frame structure is sound and fit for purpose.

Refill with new foam pads and backfill with liquid expanding foam. level and apply west system adhesive before applying old GRP lid.

We apply weights to ensure a good bond between the surfaces.

Cherry Picker basket broken during operation

Inner cell delaminated from the break externally.

Grind out and sand between the layers and inner surface. Brace structure to reshape and sheath with fibreglass matting. Install 2 foam ribs for strength.

Flowcoat interior and tidy up cracked gelcoat externally.
